Campus Placements
What are Campus placements?
Campus placement is an event when Eurospeak College invites
various local companies and business centres to come to college
campus in Reading and hire Eurospeak students for various
openings in their companies.
How they work?
The placement sessions takes place in two sessions with students
registering with Campus Placement Cell, a College society that
works closely with students and companies in organising the
Campus placement event. This body then manages the whole process
of lobbying companies, inviting them, pre placement talk
sessions management, making sure the interview process goes
smoothly, co-ordinating various recruitments on a scheduled
basis, negotiating the best possible job packages for students
etc. Besides, summer training is also facilitated at our college
and one can sign up for internship programs as well. What’s in it for Employers?
This event is as useful for employers as it is for students. We
know how difficult it is for companies to find the right
candidates. The Campus placement event gives the opportunity for
employers to select their employees from a pool of candidates
and hence hire the one who is most suitable for the job.
The process is extremely simple for companies. All they need to
do is provide us with their job opening details such as the
profile, package offered etc. and we would circulate this
amongst all our interested students and invite CVs. The
employers can then shortlist CVs and send us the list. We will
then invite the company to campus where we organize the
interview process. We also offer companies the chance to make a
presentation to students of our college and tell them about
their company.
Eurospeak is one of the very few colleges in the UK to have an
organized campus placement procedure. The college is
continuously trying to build firm ties with the companies both
near Reading and rest of UK. We always strive to offer the best
services not only to our students but also employers who want to
hire our students. |
