Eurospeak Tutors in Reading Near London
The spirit and success of a school depends on the team of
tutors who are there to teach, guide and help their students.
At Eurospeak we have the task of creating a professional,
friendly and efficient atmosphere where all the English language tutors can
teach their classes and where the students improve their
knowledge in the best possible way.
All our tutors are fully understand their responsibility towards their students and qualified in their own particular fields and experienced in carrying out their tasks –basic instruction or advanced exam preparation, welcoming new students or maintaining the interest and enthusiasm of those who have been with us for some time, encouraging the faint-hearted and pushing good students to be even better, sharing their experience of life with students who are just starting out on their exciting journey. Each teacher English tutor will advise their students about the exams they should take and what they need to do to be sure of passing them. If the students experience problems that the tutors feel they cannot cope with, the tutors will inform the director who has a pastoral interest in all the students and will help them in all possible ways to help them out.
In short, the English language tutors are the backbone of our school. Only the best are good enough because our aim is to provide the very best we can for all our students.

“I founded Eurospeak
in 1992 as a school to help non-English speakers improve
their English communication skills during their stay in
UK. From that small beginning it has grown to the school
we have today, offering language, computer, business and
hospitality management skills. After studying in England, Italy and Belgium, I started
my career as a school master teaching French, Philosophy
and Athletics and took a keen interest in social work. I
have also taught myself Italian, Spanish and German and
understand very clearly the problems of learning to
communicate in a foreign language. I was a headmaster of
a boys’ preparatory boarding school in UK and then went
to teach English to business people in France before
returning to UK to create my own school. I quickly
realized that computer skills are also vital in the work
market and so added IT to our curriculum some years ago. I enjoy hill walking, classical music, travel, current
affairs and visiting my hotel in Mexico which I have
built as a retirement project.” |

“I have a degree in English and I first taught EFL in Milan,
Italy, quite a few years ago. I've been teaching at Eurospeak
for three years now, at all levels and helping students prepare
for IELTS exams. I like using a lot of current affairs material
and movie clips in my lessons. When not at Eurospeak, I write
crime thriller books, three of which have been published in
Britain and in other countries too.”

“Having taught for more than 30 years, I am confident that I
know how to make learning an enjoyable as well as a beneficial
experience for students of all ages. I have a reputation for
being able to prepare people for examinations in a way in which
they can achieve their potential. At the same time, I realise it
is important not to lose sight of the need to establish a good
rapport with students, a very important part in the teaching
process.
In fact, I like my students to leave my classes with a smile
on their faces and more knowledge in their heads, which will
enable them to have greater confidence in their use of English
and in their communication skills. In this way, their path to
further academic studies or to a successful career will be made
that much easier. “ |

“I’ve taught for over 25 years at all levels from absolute
beginners to proficiency level and over the years many of my
students have kept in touch and become good friends.
My degrees are in Psychology and I have found my knowledge of
how we learn new things and remember them particularly useful in
the classroom.
At present I teach an IELTS groups and it is very satisfying
helping students to achieve their IELTS score and then go on to
get their degree.
I feel that Eurospeak is a friendly school which treats its
students as individuals and that is why I enjoy working here.“

“I have been teaching for over 12 years. I was teaching
in many different countries for 7 years, including Malaysia,
Japan, Australia and Spain. It was a fantastic time.
For the last 5 years I have been back in England and I love
being back ‘home’. At the moment I am teaching a First
Certificate Class and Intermediate Class. We work very hard, but
we also do fun things too, like Salsa dancing, trips to other
towns and the best is when we go to the gorgeous countryside
near to Reading (The Chiltern Hills), to see the fantastic
Bluebells, a very special flower that is at its most beautiful
in April/May.” |

"I started teaching English when I was 19 and was still
studying at University. Having graduated with an honours BA
degree in TEFL I had no doubts about devoting myself to
teaching. Since then I have experienced 10 years of the most
rewarding career and have enjoyed working with multilingual and
monolingual groups of students teaching English at all levels
and to students of all ages starting with 4 year olds, school
kids, teenagers and finishing with adults.
I am passionate about teaching and feel happy to share both
day-to-day learning experience with my students and the joy of
getting their international exam results.
I also enjoy taking part in other sides of the school life
such as working in the office and helping students to organize
their stay in UK. I enjoy being the first point of contact for
students while they are here and assisting students with any
issues they might have."
